Faces of two eternities keep looking at me

            I didn't believe that Israel could get along with another pit bull. I thought I was crazy for adopting Shifra. For the first day or two he proved me right--he tried to kill her, though they were never allowed to be near each other unless one was in a kennel or Israel wore a muzzle and was leashed.
And then it all changed and there hasn't been a single problem since. I dare say that they love each other.
