So far, my only visit to this beautiful waterfall was in the first workshop I participated in, in September 2014: Potomac Highlands Photography Workshop, offered by Randall Sanger Photography, with Todd Williams as co-leader. Randy tried to take my brother Ted and me to this site in May this year, but forest road 18 -- never in good condition -- had been severely washed and strewn with rocks by recent rains, keeping us from driving in. We could have walked the better part of a mile in, but we had found some falls with too much water for decent photography and decided not to walk in and out of this location, fearing the time might be wasted.
