Living on the edge - Sea Horse. - a photo on Flickriver

            The horse sculpture represents the horses that were once used to pull the lifeboat down to the sea. The sculpture by Rachael Long was originally part of a temporary art trail, but was so loved by visitors and locals alike funds were raised to purchase it and it is now a permanent fixture It is removed in winter for maintenance.
