Chelsea Flower Show - Driftwood Garden Ornament

            One of the many vendors displaying their wares included an assortment of animals and other creatures made entirely from driftwood.

I didn't see the price of this particular one, but a similar sized sculpture was 20,000 GBP.

From the Guardian's report on the CFS: "Devon-born but based in the Philippines, James Doran has built a small network of driftwood gatherers who provide much-needed cash to impoverished provincial villages. For every kilo of wood Doran buys, he plants a seedling on denuded hills in north and south Cebu. His programme aims to plant 80,000 trees over the next five years and solidify relationships with tenants and claimants of the land, as well as the Department of Environment and Natural Resources, to help nurture the seedlings to full growth."
