Vor Frue kirke

            Our Lady's Church in Copenhagen is a cathedral in the Diocese of Copenhagen. It has been so since the establishment of the diocese in 1922. The church is dedicated to the Virgin Mary, who in particular was also called Our Lady in the past. There has been a church on the site since the 12th century, but the church building has been burned and rebuilt several times. Three times it has been burnt to the ground and has subsequently been replaced by a new building. The current church was built at the beginning of the 19th century in classicist style.
