Christmas Anno Domini In Maastricht, NL

            In 2019 AD the streets of Maastricht in the Netherlands were filled with people, yes actual human beings, who were socializing and happy: Christmas was around the corner. There were Christmas decorations all around; there was joy and warmth in the hearts; love was in the air. 

No-one seemed then to remember the eerie experiences of past sieges, when one had been forced to hide underground, within the cold and wet caves and tunnels in order to merely survive…
