Quiet, Narrow Mountain Road - a photo on Flickriver

            This is a shot of the mountain road from Matsouki (Epirus, Greece) to the Baros pass. There are several stones slid down from the craggy mountains' tops onto the tarmac; these fallen stones have even bent the guardrails!

The Tsoúma–Plastári peak soars 7,146 ft (2,178 m) above the sea level. Baros is a remote mountain pass at a high altitude (6,234 ft / 1,900 m approximately). Baros pass is a natural boundary between the regions of Thessaly (East, Trikala county) and Epirus (West, Ioannina county).
