The Night Owl

Here at id-iom things are sometimes created with fairly contrived reasons for being and ‘The Night Owl’ is one such creature. One half of id-iom had become somewhat enamoured with the idea of doing a piece referencing Lilith who was Adam’s first wife who was banished from the Garden of Eden for not obeying Adam. To me she sounds like a modern woman but the patriarchy didn’t see it as such and she was branded a demon and a monster and referenced as such with one of her many names being ‘the night owl’.

What you’re left with is ‘The Night Owl’ created on two A4 bits of paper using letter stamps, yellow tape, acrylic paint and paint pen.
