Botts Marsh is now stewarded by the Lower Nehalem Community Trust, in perpetuity. So these channels will persist and evolve as a natural habitat, providing shelter and feeding grounds for fish, birds, invertebrates, and the occasional mammal, into the unforeseeable future.
