I'm with Photix Atlas on the camera, Beauty Dish flash and Ring flash have a Pocket Wizard II Plus attached.

I really loved the idea of my friends and it was so interesting to do that shoot. They spent a couple of hours fixing all the straws on her head, and painting her skin in the colorful stripes, and I spent that time thinking how to lit her in that situation. Actually the photoshoot lasted only about 20 minutes! As a background I had a 1.3 meter wide white backdrop, but shooting her on white was not what we wanted to do, so I thought that we play with some gels for the background.

But let me first talk about the key light, that was the first time I was using a Beauty Dish for my photoshoots! And actually this beauty dish was a DIY one, made by my friend Darren, and I got it as a present from him! He literally used a dish to make it, and it is really awesome piece of light modifier, a proof that even without spending lots of money you can create interesting things! I was also using a fill flash behind her with a Ring Flash, but it doesn't play that significant role in all of the shots here, anyway it's there!
