Sarastro - a photo on Flickriver

Sarastro

            Central London, UK

A restaurant, in a street, with a garden, and perhaps an arbour, on the pavement, and on its outside wall.  Is the outside in, or the inside out?  

Is it really a restaurant through the golden door, or is the right hand side a pose, an installation, a theatre set?

There's something Lewis Carroll-ish about it. Perhaps threatening. What's happened to the pink lady? Are they turning into zombies? 

And where do the arches lead to? Dare you go through?

The photo itself has an optical illusion of being taller on the left, shorter to the right of centre, and in-between height on the right.
