Vasco de Gama

            The Vasco de Gama Bridge is a cable-stayed bridge over the Tagus River, in the Greater Lisbon area, which connects Montijo and Sacavém, very close to the Parque das Nações, where the Expo '98 was held. Opened on April 4, 1998, the bridge is the longest in Europe, with its 12.3 km (0.8 km of main bridge and 11.5 km of viaducts), of which 10 are on the waters of the estuary of the Tagus. The width of the track is 30 meters, and the length of the largest light is 420 meters.

El puente Vasco de Gama es un puente atirantado sobre el río Tajo, en la zona del Gran Lisboa, que conecta Montijo y Sacavém, muy cerca del Parque das Nações, donde se celebró la Expo '98. Inaugurado el 4 de abril de 1998, el puente es el más largo de Europa, con sus 12,3 km (0,8 km de puente principal y 11,5 km de viaductos), de los cuales 10 se encuentran en las aguas del estuario del Tajo. El ancho de la pista es de 30 metros, y la longitud de la luz más grande es de 420 metros.
