A long abandoned strip mall in New York State

            The plaza pictured here opened 40 years ago with stores and services like W.T. Grant Co., Loblaws grocery store, Harper's Kitchen, a drug store (later Rite Aid) and I believe M&T Bank.  Toward the end of its run, this strip mall had a bells grocery store, Family Dollar and Ames.  It's probably been empty since Bill Clinton was President.

Due to a recent signage theft from another dead strip mall I photographed a while ago, I will not mention where this plaza is. I'm all for nabbing signs and other memorabilia from vacant places, but there are rules to follow. Some property management companies get hot when you steal things from their shopping centers whether they are abandoned or not.
