A Beautiful Thing: Buck In Early Morning Light

            You don't see the hooves of deer very often.  Usually they are sunk down in the grass or mud, so here they are on this male whitetail deer.  

I shot this out the driver's side window of my truck as I was heading out to the garden to do some work.  He stood in the road assuming various poses in the golden light of early morning!  It was his gift to me. 

I hope he makes it through the coming hunting season!  He is a beautiful thing!
