Shoreham Airshow 2008 - ML 407 Grace Spitfire

            This Spitfire was credited for the first kill on D-Day.  It changed hands between many Allied countries during the war.  It was then after the was changed to a two seater plane.  This Spitfire was used in the Battle of Britain film.
In 1979 it was obtained by Nick Grace who restored the plane to its full glory as a two seater.  Nick Grace sadly died in a car accident.  His wife Carolyn Grace learned to fly the Spitfire and she takes the Spitfire to many different air shows.  The plane does its aerobatic display to music.
