Magoito Beach - a photo on Flickriver

On the following day I decided to skip Sintra and its architecture photos and went to Magoito beach some 15 Km (ca. 10 miles) out of Sintra. I've been living in hinterland Covilhã for over ten years now, and and I was longing for a good look at the sea.

In fact, in my early days, I spent a few summer holidays in Magoito, for my then father-in-law had a summer house there, and It all felt a bit like going down memory lane. It feels curious how can the beach look the same when I am 50 years older. Something just doesn't add up.

To access the beach you have to go down a very long stairway. I find the view from above a treat.
