View from the High Rollway, Manistee River

This was taken from the High Rollway between Buckley and Manton on the north side of the Manistee River and looking south. The North Country Trail passes through this location. (It's called the "High Rollway" because during Michigan's logging era, logs were rolled down the 300 or so feet down the slope into the river here and then floated down to the sawmills. See this location on Google Maps satellite view..)

Best if viewed at the "Original Size" and then scroll sideways to see it all. This is a combination of three photos that I merged together. I brought the size down so that if viewed at the Original Size in Flickr, the height just fits in the browser window at 1152 x 872 resolution.
