A Studebaker under a Christmas tree?

            This 1950 Studebaker Champion sedan was one of approximately 5,000  cars and trucks, dating from the late 1920s to late 1960s, which were at an auto salvage in Limestone, Maine. Some of the cars were in quite good condition, and were restored by antique auto enthusiasts in the 1980s and 1990s. Calvin West, who operated the yard for many years, had a contract to remove abandoned vehicles from the nearby US AIr Force Loring Base. After his death, the yard operated under the name "Yesterday's Cars and Parts", until being closed, and the vehicles crushed, during the 1990s.

It was quite common here to find cars with trees (usually poplars) growing through them. This car "grew" a fir.
