Matin de brume! /Misty morning! - a photo on Flickriver

            L’île du Havre, au large de Havre-St-Pierre, Côte-Nord, Québec, Canada. 

Une vue à partir du bateau dans le cadre de l’excursion Forfait 3 Îles (de l’Archipel-de-Mingan) en départ du port de Havre-St-Pierre offert par les Services Maritimes Boréale. 

Cette île fait partie de l’Archipel-de-Mingan. La réserve de parc national de l'Archipel-de-Mingan est l'un des quatre parcs nationaux du Canada située dans la MRC de Minganie au Québec. Elle protège 150 km2 d'un chapelet d'îles calcaires situées sur la Côte-Nord du golfe du Saint-Laurent au large de Havre-Saint-Pierre face à l'île d'Anticosti. 

On y retrouve des structures géologiques exceptionnelles (les monolithes) ainsi qu'une végétation de type boréal. Les eaux entourant les îles sont riches en oiseaux et en vie marine. Le symbole du parc est d'ailleurs le macareux moine qui niche sur certaines îles de l'archipel.
