Kenworth Interstate Batteries Truck - a photo on Flickriver

            Blue Ash Suburb of Cincinnati, Ohio.  The 18 on the truck is a reference to the NASCAR car that Interstate sponsored so you can tell how old this shot is.  Ned Jarrett drove the 18 car and has been retired for several years.  The gas/service station has been there since 1927 and if you look closely, you can see an old Gulf gas pump through the window.  The station is on prime retail/business real estate as one of the last hold outs. My guess is that the property is worth a ton of money.  When I saw the truck, I asked my lady to pull to the curb so I could get a shot out the window.  It must have been a reckless move as the guy in the shot came out and yelled for us to pull in so we could get the shot w/o incident.  By then, I had what I wanted, so we waved and went on..
