The Watcher - a photo on Flickriver

The Watcher

            I'm holding a sterling silver watch that was left to me by my father and came down from his family. Unfortunately I have no idea of the history of this watch or who actually owned it. And I'll likely never know because all who may have been able to answer my questions are now dead. Still, it is a wonderful heirloom and remains a fully functional timepiece, complete with watch chain.

We're Here looks at Old and Round today and this pocket watch qualifies on both counts.
