Upon Reflection @ Lake Argle - a photo on Flickriver

            Western Australia...

This man-made lake is so big its technically an inland sea.  It has a surface area of 1,000 square kms...and holds the equivalent of anywhere between 17- 21 Sydney Harbours, depending on the wet season.  The  river system that flows into it is second only to the Amizon when it is at its fullest.  All this is held back by a dam wall of just 335 metres long and 98 metres high...making it the most efficient dam in Australia.  Its a most impressive sight!

This was taken in low light with a very high ISO so there's quite a bit of noise and banding.
