Embrace the Blur_DSC_3601-Edit - a photo on Flickriver

In memory of our dear Flickr friend Ali (www.flickr.com/photos/alideniese/), whose birthday is today.
Ali created magic with her camera, producing sublime and somewhat mystical images using ICM and other techniques I could barely comprehend, let alone reproduce. And she loved soft and dreamy images and swirling bokeh. By chance, I was out trying to capture something with my vintage Helios 44 2/58 lens today. When I got back, I saw a post by Andrew in memory of Ali and her birthday today ... so it seemed appropriate to post an image that hopefully Ali would like, and maybe some of you out there like too.

"Embrace the Blur" - is the title of a book of Ali's images that was created by Andrew www.flickr.com/photos/ajhaysom/ as a gift for her family after she passed away in March.
