The Postman Delivers! - a photo on Flickriver

            For "Crazy Tuesday" theme of "Creased Paper"

Dated August 11 1911 and nearly 110 years old!
Even I can't remember that far back!

A slightly battered postcard from BASEL, Switzerland to an address in Finsbury Park, London UK. Obviously from somebody on holiday and sending the traditional 'don't you wish you were here' postcard back to a friend. Just to emphasise the point they have chosen a card with not just one view but a folded concertina of pictures that fold back into the postman's bag. The bag does close up and the pictures are held safe with a tab.
Such cards were not unusual but the last I saw for sale on postcard stands was in the 1950s somewhere at the English seaside.
