Waiting - a photo on Flickriver

Waiting

            Just shows what the camera reveals and the eye hadn't seen.
I knew these chairs were hand-assembled but hadn't realised that the components were hand-made too. - and I had bought them as a set of four chairs!

A simple set-up with what was on my tabletop and using a desk lamp for the main lighting. With such a small depth of field I used a tripod and moved the camera to get the focus where I wanted.

At f1.2 the depth of field is small and the lens is always 'fully open' as it has no aperture blades.
