Out of Africa - a photo on Flickriver

Out of Africa

            I keep returning over and over to my images from our African safari earlier this year. We visited the home of Karen Blixen (aka Isak Dinesen), near Nairobi. This is  where "Out of Africa", an account of her life while living and running a coffee plantation in Kenya, was written.  The image is very noisy because it was quite dark inside the house, but I think the grain adds to the vintage effect.
