Armchair Traveling - Life On The Mekong River

            Today's edition of Armchair Traveling takes me back to our cruise on the Mekong River. We boarded the river boat in Kampong Cham and made our way south over the next 5 or 6 days to Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City) all the way to My Tho before we disembarked. We stopped at villages and cities along the way, but even when aboard the boat the glimpses of the native way of life were fascinating. I never could figure out what this group of boats all rafted together were doing. They seemed to be exchanging goods or maybe refueling.
