White Wall No. 86

There are walls and then there are white walls

Occasionally, I get the question - why photograph walls?

From 2000 to 2010, I was on the road 2 weeks a month presenting seminars on sales taxes, payroll, AP and accounting for non-accountants. That last one was soooo boring that even I fell asleep once or twice.

The job was great. Because of it, I have worked in every state, spent a night in every state and have a photograph from every state. Few people can make that claim. I'm waiting for my call, Hollywood.

Of course, I used PowerPoint, but I didn't want to use the templates and backgrounds that were provided, so I started photographing walls to have my own stuff. I also took pictures for my own clip art.

After I retired, I continue to do it for a couple of reasons. First, the looks you all make when I tell you I like to photograph walls. And, you never know when someone is going to ask me to give a presentation about walls. But mostly it's because there's always something to photograph if you're into photographing walls.
