2015-09-05 1126 NKP 765 Elmhurst, PA

            Railfest 2015 was held over the Labor Day weekend at the Steamtown National Historic Site in Scranton, PA. I attended with friends Bill Kalkman, Tom Bunjon, and Justin Voelker. On Saturday the Nickel Plate 765 led "The Phoebe Snow"  excursion to the Delaware Water Gap. The back roads in the Poconos were jammed with chasers and some photo locations probably had close to 100 photographers ready to ambush the Berkshire at speed. Here 765 passes under the out of service signal bridge along the former DL&W mainline in Elmhurst, PA.
