When I have my tea at 09:00 and 15:00 I like to have a snack with it too. In the morning I’ll have a croissant, pancake or slice of toast and in the afternoon I’ll have a biscuit. Today however, I’m going all out and having a stroopwaffle! These are absolutely delicious, and thanks to working with a Dutch company, on a Dutch barge with predominantly Dutch crew, we have plenty of them on board! It’s Wednesday, but now it feels like a Saturday!

Wuhan began allowing people to leave for the first time since the central Chinese city was sealed off 76 days ago to contain the coronavirus that first emerged there late last year. The United Kingdom recorded its highest daily death toll, at 938, bringing the number of total coronavirus-linked fatalities to 7,097 while infections in the US surged past the 400,000 mark. Prime Minister Boris Johnson spends his second night in intensive care and is said to be in a stable conditions. A woman aged 98 is discharged from Ninewells Hospital in Dundee after surviving coronavirus whilst a recalculation of death figures in Scotland which are linked to Covid-19 reveals a big jump.
