DSCN5606 famous guests - a photo on Flickriver

            Physicist Sigismund Vetulani on XXII Tarpaniada Shows in Sierakow on 26 August 2023, the Son of Professor Thaddeus Vetulani from the University of Poznan. His father started in 1936 with reconstruction of small horses called the Polish Koniki. The forest tarpans were caught and placed in the Zamoyski zoological gardens in 1780 and distributed later to the surrounding peasants because of the cost of living. In the picture: antique stables on the stud grounds and The Little White House on my left (background). It should be emphasized that every year the Tarpaniada event is supported by the authority of the state.
