French Leica-related literature - a photo on Flickriver

In the years 1950's Paul Montel Editions, Paris, France, edited many guides and literature related to the practice of photography and cinema.

I found the 1958 edition of the Leica-Guide by W. D. Emanuel presenting the Leica's available at that time including the first M-series Leica, the M3. On the cover back there an advertising of "Spécialités Tiranty" that was the historical Leica representation in France since 1927. The company became later in the 60's Leitz-France.

My Leica M3 has the black wax seal with the letter "D" (Tiranty, Paris) in the top screw well of the lens mount, indicating that the camera was serviced officially there, in Paris. I had already since 1977 the Leica-Guide edition 1953 without dealing only of the original screw-mount Leica.

In another FOCA-Guide (1950), I found forgotten small leaflets related to a Kodak exposition table likely year 1966 and a user manual of a French Drepy Flash.

Before WWII in France, the Lumière company published its "Agenda Lumière" that was a comprehensive pocket treatise of photography and the related chemistry. I found recently the edition year 1933 that was purchased by the photo section of the sport association of "TCRP" that was the former "RATP" the public company in charge of public transportations in Paris, France.
