Leonas hambrientas en el P.N Serengueti ( Tanzania )

            En función de la estación del año, el parque sufre una metamorfosis curiosa: es hermosamente verde durante la estación de lluvias, con los animales más desperdigados pero en mayor número, ya que las manadas de herbívoros migran desde el Masai Mara keniata en busca de los mejores pastos. Son los días de abundancia, en los que hay comida para todos, que contrasta con el escenario amarillo, seco y sediento de la estación seca. Muchos herbívoros, como los ñús, han emigrado hacia el Norte de nuevo, dejando la despensa vacía a los depredadores y, literalmente, muertos de hambre.
