Camera and Coastal Scene (20372)

I feel like I've been given a gift when I go out shooting and find nature's elements looking beautiful and photogenic -- like this moment, on an afternoon in Spruce Head. It was cold and windy (notice how the camera strap is being blown to the right), but so beautiful! What a great day!

For photographers who may be curious: the gear is a Canon 5D and Canon 17-40mm f/4 lens. On the front of the lens is a Lee filter holder and HiTech 2-stop graduated ND filter. The camera and Kirk L-bracket are mounted on an Induro BHD2 ballhead on a Manfrotto 055CX-PRO4 tripod.

This photo was taken with a great pocket camera, the Panasonic Lumix LX-5.
