20180102_1668_7D2-61 Memorial Avenue Gateway Bridge (002/365)

            Opened just six weeks ago this bridge carries State Highway One traffic (on Russley Road) over Memorial Avenue, the main entrance to the airport.  The coloured lights on the arches change colour, similar to the New Brighton Pier.

South to the left, north to the right.

Taken at 5:38am after dropping my wife off for her 6:30am flight to Auckland.

Note that the satellite image for the map still shows a round-a-bout here. That was in 2014!
