Gilding the lily

            I took this picture shortly before sunset while walking along the Main-Danube Canal in Erba Park. There was sunlight on this flower and on the water, but everything else here, including trees along the canal bank, was in deep shade. The glistening (or gilded) spots in the photo were out-of-focus reflected light from the water, most of them through openings between the trees. Edited in LR 6.9 & NIK Viveza 2.
