Cascadas - Puerto Octay (Patagonia Chile)

            
El Circuito del Lago Llanquihue es una ruta que se realiza alrededor del Lago Llanquihue. El lago posee una superficie de 877 kms el segundo mayor lago de Chile y la carretera que lo rodea tiene un largo de 186 kms. 

El circuito recorre paisajes que mezclan el lago, volcanes, vegetación y arquitectura pasando por bellos poblados costeros como Llanquihue: Puerto Varas, Ensenada, Las Cascadas, Puerto Octay, Frutillar y Llanquihue, que destacan por sus construcciones que datan del tiempo de la colonización alemana como casonas patronales, iglesias, capillas, un atractivo molino de agua y museos que guardan reminiscencia de esa época.  Entre los atractivos naturales destacan lagunas La Poza y Laguna Verde, el centro de esquí y montaña del volcán Osorno, el Parque Nacional Vicente Pérez Rosales y Península Centinela donde es posible realizar  trekking, montañismo, campismo, observación de flora y fauna, esquí de nieve y agua, asi como comprar  artesanías y pesca deportiva.
