prehistoric sketchbook project - front and back cover

For the 2012 Sketchbook project. Collage, photos of toy dinosaurs, acrylics, the binding is sewing over tapes. I made an artist's book on watercolor paper instead of using the sketchbook they sent. It's the same dimensions but only the label with bar code remains from the original. I used some pages left from another project. I did enjoy this, and may do it again next year.

Edit: actually it's not true that the barcode is the only thing remaining from the original sketchbook. I also used their front and back cover to stiffen mine. So the tan cover was cut into two pieces, each piece is sandwiched between the folded piece of star-covered paper that forms the actual cover. Folding the front and back cover also allowed me to tuck the pieces of ribbon from the sewn-over-tapes structure inside, so they don't show.
