Zymo 127 tripod parts - a photo on Flickriver

The tripod was made from brass tubing, handmade copper beads for feet, little brass boxes with holes drilled in two sides to attach the tubing. The three-sided brass boxes, upper left, were soldered (brazed) to a piece of 18 gauge brass in the triangular configuration shown to form the tripod head. The tops of the legs go into the boxes, a bolt goes through the holes. The legs are free to pivot down or out. See the completed tripod here.

This is the tripod used to display my handmade camera, the Zymo 127, which I used to take photos in the Zymoglyphic Museum, which is my husband's project.
