            Paper: Arches 90 lb. hot press watercolor paper. I made three small bundles of paper and plants, dropped them in a pot of strong tea, just below simmer and let them stay for .5 hour. I let the pot sit outside for 3 days, then hung the bundles to drip and begin to dry for another day. The water got very dark and murky. The pot is an old enameled one that has some rust in the bottom.

All this group of photos were taken as I opened the bundles while the paper was still damp. They all dried somewhat lighter than they are in these photos. They are in order, but I omitted a lot of the pages, only including the ones that looked interesting to me. I am also going back to front at times as I open the books.
