Bee Feeding On A Fuchsia magellanica

This fuchsia bush makes a splendid statement each summer and the red of the flower petals is echoed with the red tinged leaves and stems.

Not sure what genus bee this is, but think it is either a solitary bee or a mining bee.

Photographed in our garden.
