EK AWARDS FOR INFANTERIE-REGIMENT 145 (WITH STURMTRUPPEN 1916-17) N°1/2

            Two views of a medal presentation to IR145 members. What interested me was the presence of soldiers with grenade bags in addition to the others with their helmets and assault packs. I thought it was a pretty common sight but after some research this unit seems closer to assault troops than I thought.

Unidentified village probably in Lorraine or there.
