ART OF GRENADE THROWING (1915-1916) 1/4

            One of the four photos that I was able to secure in a set of about twenty.

Some had didactic red arrows to show the movements to be made.

No indication of unit or location. There are only pickelhaubes. Some have leather reinforcements. A factory is seen in the background of some photos. The didactic aspect makes me say that it is rather about the beginning of the assault troops with the grenade bags (winter 1915-1916).

In this image we can see a kneeling soldier throwing a wooden grenade. Two arrows indicate the forward pendulum movement.

This is the best picture I have won in the set.
