Memorial Quilt

            This quilt was made from my father-in-law's clothes.  He passed away in February from cancer.  He was one of my true heroes.  He was an amazing person.  We published our second book together just three months before he died.  He worked for two years fighting cancer and writing several books about his experience.  The book we wrote together was about his hometown of Bristol, Rhode Island.  He had an incredible career, worked tirelessly to make a great life for his family and put everything he had into getting some extra time out of life when he was diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer two years ago.  (non-smoker)  This quilt is for my mother-in-law.  Hopefully it will help fill a void I know she has after the losing the man she was married to for 49.5 years.
