Ravenous Robin - a photo on Flickriver

Ravenous Robin

            For the Weekly Alphabet Group. I've been acquainted with this Robin since Spring 2014 when he/she (I think he's a he) was a speckled fledgeling.  We've watched him mature & twice he's been brave enough to snatch a crumb from my outstretched fingertips. He spends the best part of the day in the garage or garden with my husband & he certainly knows when it's 2pm & the chickens get fed as he's always underfoot waiting for a treat. Lately there is another Robin in his company that he doesn't shoo away so maybe we'll hear the pitter patter of tiny Robin feet soon?
