Watchful - a photo on Flickriver

Watchful

            Tucked away at the back of the old brick works next to the railway line I could hear strange little noises in the undergrowth as I quietly photographed Brown Argus, Coppers and Common Blue butterflies.  I tutted to myself and muttered under my breath thinking the local kids had snuck onto the wasteland to play.. The cries became louder and all of a sudden two Fox cubs tumbled out into the open..I don't know who was more surprised as our eyes met! I fired off two lucky shots with the camera settings all wrong so hey, just for the record!
