a dark angel

            In the centre of King Square in Bridgwater is a very moving and stunning war memorial sculpted in bronze by John Angel. I sat in the dappled shade on a bench surrounded by trees, flowers, Regency architecture and a beautiful blue sky and felt extremely moved by the atmosphere and presence of this beautiful dark work of art...what a contrast to the memorial in Highbridge of the war time hero, Frank Foley...I must photograph it for you all to see what I mean.
The sentiment is obviously the same but the execution is not great to say the least.
