I've been working for some time now on a project to rename, organize, and archive thousands of photo files to make it much easier to find a particular file, without having to slog through hundreds of poorly marked CDs and DVDs. I'm happy to say, after nearly two years of on again, off again, work, I'm about half-way through. (Though it will probably take me another year to get through all the NM files :P ).

But in the process, I've run across images I'd long since forgotten and never did anything with because at the time I was shooting a lot, and they'd just sorta gotten burried.

Can't say I exactly have that problem now, as it may be another five years before I can go on another vacation. And I just don't seem to pick up my cameras much anymore unless its to grab a shot of my cat.
