Green On Green, 90 Main W, Hamilton - a photo on Flickriver

            While out on a wander in downtown Hamilton, Ontario back in the Spring, I spotted a freshly leafed Locust tree adjacent to the green panels on the upper levels of the Michael de Groote School of Medicine building at 90 Main St West . I liked the green-on-green and the simple, abstract look. - JW

Tech Details:

Taken using a hand-held Nikon D7100 fitted with a AF-S DX Nikkor 18-105mm 1:3.5-5.6 lense set to 48mm, ISO360 (Auto ISO), Matrix metering, Daylight WB, Shutter Priority mode, f/4.8, 1/400 sec with an EV+0.67 exposure bias. PP in free, Open Source RAWTherapee from Nikon RAW/NEF source File: set final image size to be 9000px wide, level the image, apply Tone Mapping  at default levels,  slightly increase Contrast and Chromaticity in L-A-B mode, slightly increase Vibrance, sharpen (edges only), save. PP in free Open Source GIMP: use the Curves tool to slightly boost the mid-tones, did NOT sharpen, save, scale image to 6000 px wide, save, add fine black and white frame, add bar and text on left, save, scale image to 3000px wide for posting online, save.
