Revisiting Uttarakhand - a photo on Flickriver

            Revisiting Uttarakhand: A child in Chandrapuri, Uttarakhand, finishes his homework outside the tent he lives in. His house was among the 36 buildings in the village which were washed away by the June 2013 flashfloods. For 4 months after the floods villagers had to use an ad hoc ropeway installed by a group of adventure enthusiasts.
